Windows Vista Support

With the move to Windows Vista, most issues arise from the way that Vista handles the security of drivers for the devices. This document gives an explanation of the difference in how XP and Vista deal with the security of drivers.

Vodafone have worked closely with Microsoft to get our products ready for Vista, which will also mean that some products will not be supported under Vista.

Most products will require upgrading your Vodafone Mobile Broadband software/firmware to ensure they work correctly on Windows Vista.

We have upgraded our Vodafone Mobile Broadband software to make it Vista ready.

Please download this software if you are running Windows Vista.

Installation instructions:

• Remove any existing Vodafone Mobile Broadband Software using Add/Remove Programs.
• Click on the link above, when prompted, save the file to a location and once downloaded run the self extracting zip file to install the software.
• Follow the instructions when you start the software to attach the datacard to the software.
• Download the readme file to find check which devices are currently supported on Vista.
